On Saturday, after volunteering for Race for the Cure (which was actually pretty fun), Chris and I went to Prairie Fest, a festival thing held at a park near my house. A park which is, apparently, the largest area of undisturbed prairie land in Texas (160 acres). I didn't even know it existed!
Chris and I skipped out on most of the Prairie Fest activities and went wandering through the tree/"prairie" area for about two hours. It was really cool!!
