Day 50: I [heart] Band

So I was busy posting a bulletin on MySpace not too long ago, and I was talking about how excited I am about this upcoming weekend.
It sounds so nerdy, but I'm spending all day Friday (mostly), all day Saturday, and a portion of Sunday with band kids, and I am SO pumped. Seriously.

I'm so glad that wayyyy back in 5th grade, when I went to the band open house at ALA that I went and changed my choice from Art to Band.
I have met some of the best people I've ever met in band. I have this group of friends that is ridiculously large, and we all know each other, so when we hang out, it's not awkward. And, there's always someone to hang out with. I mean, I have a choice of like, 100 people. Plus outside of band friends!

They're all funny, smart (Well, mostly, haha), caring, and great to be around.
So, thank you, 5th grade self, for changing from art to band! You changed my life for the better!
